Peony Lancaster Imp

This short and sturdy Peony is often used in public gardens and city parks because of her healthy and reliable growth. I have seen the Lancaster Imp many times and what do you think… not a proper picture. I have some snapshots of course, but I do not think the Lancaster Imp would be happy if I showed them to you. When you do not have the imagery, then you will have to use words. Whenever this happens to me, I always think of the old man I met once when I was taking photos. He told me that you can sell much more with a good text, rather than a good picture. Of course, at first, I did not agree with him at all. But fair is fair, and at the end of this nice discussion, I had to agree with him. He told me, that with words, you can draw people into this fantasy world. And when they are there, and you will tell them that this certain flower is the most beautiful heavenly blue that they could ever imagine… Well then, said the old man, I got you now because I am sure that the color that all the readers are imagining right now is much more beautiful than the color blue in your picture. Genius, right? Too bad the Lancaster Imp is white :-) Good Peony either way, you can safely plant it.
