Zantedeschias

One of our most beautiful summer flowering bulbs is the Zantedeschia. Everyone knows the Zantedeschia or 'Calla Lily'. Its magically beautiful flowers have been seen in images for centuries, and still are today. We supply large Zantedeschia bulbs with a minimum circumference of 20 cm+, guaranteed many flowers.

As a cut flower and potted plant it is becoming increasingly popular and that is understandable. The flower of the Zantedeschia is simply fantastically beautiful in all its simplicity. Zantedeschia

The Zantedeschia is better known to many as the 'Calla'. This modern tuberous plant has undergone a huge metamorphosis in recent years. It originates from South Africa and is as old as the road to Kralingen, but about ten years ago it suddenly became hip.

Planting Zantedeschia:
Plant the zantedeschia tubers at least 10 cm deep, as the roots grow at the bottom of the tuber and the shoot from the top. A good layer of soil on top is therefore essential, both in borders and in pots. For borders, choose a sunny spot, and for pots, go for larger specimens here too
