This exotic bulb is named after the capital of Bolivia, the country were most likely the parents of this Amaryllis come from. Species Amaryllises are growing in the north of Chile, Peru and Bolivia.
La Paz is a direct offspring of the species Amaryllis. She is very easy to flower and grows rather tall but because of her loose blossoms she seldom tips over.
