"A happy name for a happy flower. Her crisp, red colour gets extra shine because of the little bit of shining white coming from the heart of the flower.
Like all double Amaryllises with Nymph in the name, she is grown by Amaryllis grower and hybridizer Ton Peter van Nieuwkerk. They all have the same good qualities as a house plant and yet they are all different.
Happy Nymph is one of the most striking Nymphs: with her jovial red colour she really puts a smile on my face."

Amaryllis
The biggest reason I love the Amaryllis so much is because she always performs well. Always? Yes always. No kidding, if you leave them in the box they will still bloom. It seems that it can’t go wrong.
Planting Amaryllis:
Planting an amaryllis is quite easy. Plant the amaryllis bulb in a pot that is half filled with soil, but in such a way that the neck of the bulb protrudes above the soil. Make sure that the soil remains somewhat moist and place the pot in a warm, but not too sunny place, then within six to eight weeks there will be a beautiful amaryllis in your living room.
It is even possible to plant an amaryllis bulb without using soil. Then it needs a vase in which the bulb can stand upright. This way the roots can hang in the water.
