Bloembollen planten

Wanneer moet ik mijn bloembollen planten? Wie in het voorjaar prachtige bloemen zoals tulpen en narcissen in de tuin wilt hebben zal in het najaar bloembollen moeten planten. Dit kan zodra de bladeren van de bomen vallen. Zorg ervoor dat de voorjaarsbloeiers in de grond zitten voordat het gaat vriezen.

Zomerbloeiers zoals dahlia’s en lelies plant je juist weer in het voorjaar zodat ze in de zomer bloeien.

Bloembollen planten is helemaal niet ingewikkeld. In de basis gelden steeds dezelfde principes:

  • plant de bol niet al te diep in de grond (meestal tussen de 8 en de 18 centimeter)
  • zorg voor goede natuurlijke omstandigheden
  • wees zuinig met mest en laat de bol z’n werk doen
