Keukenhof

Dear reader,
Another busy week means another week without an extensive newsletter, even though there is much to tell. Many flower-enthusiasts may already know, but as of March 19, Keukenhof has been open. It is probably one of the most quintessentially Dutch activities possible to visit Keukenhof, but if you do so this year, we wanted to give some extra attention to the different exhibits from flower bulb growers from all over The Netherlands. Every year, growers submit contributions to the park, and you can see who created a particular flower bed on the accompanying signs.

If you visit Keukenhof this year, we would love it if you would take a photograph with the flower bed Fluwel has submitted. If you send the photograph to info@fluwel.nl , you automatically enter a raffle where we give one of the people who send us a photo a gift card to our web shop. We would love to see who of our readers visit Keukenhof, and what you think about it!

Keukenhof is open until May 10, from 8:00 in the morning until 19:00 in the evening.

My father is still busy now that spring has really started, and his beloved Daffodils are slowly all showing their faces, so writing newsletters doesn’t really win when it comes to dividing the available time and attention. I do hope you are enjoying the slowly-improving weather (I am not a winter person myself so I am happy it’s spring) and are having fun outside!
Kind regards,
Pien van der Veek
