Too Much to Tell to Write a Newsletter!

Dear reader,
You may have noticed that we have neglected to send out a newsletter the past few weeks. Our long-term readers probably know by now that when that happens, it usually means there is too much to tell, not too little. The weather is getting better, we can all go outside again without freezing, and the spring-blooming flower bulbs are slowly arriving. My father spent the last couple of weeks visiting lots of Daffodil friends and is now looking at Amaryllises in the Westland, the place in South Holland where lots of our biggest greenhouses are located

He’ll probably tell you all about it later, but I did want to write this short message to let you all know we haven’t forgotten about the newsletters! I hope you have also been enjoying the warmer weather and the sun (I did feel like I my flatmate and I reached a specific stage of adulthood when we were so very happy to hang our laundry outside for the first time this year). And naturally, I hope you are having fun planting Dahlias and other summer-flowers now that the time is here :)

So for now, this short message will have to do, but lots more is coming—after all, the most beautiful time of year is almost here!
Kind regards,
Pien van der Veek
