If you were to ask me which tulip naturalizes best, I would recommend this one. There is hardly a single tulip that truly naturalizes in the garden like a daffodil can, but Van Eijk has such vigor that it can keep going for years. After its introduction in 1995, Van Eijk quickly grew into one of the most cultivated garden tulips, truly a success story. It faded into the background for a while due to years of overproduction, making it impossible for growers to make a living from it. Fortunately, Van Eijk is making a comeback. Truly a trouble-free tulip for both the grower and the gardener. It is interesting to know that Van Eijk originated at the Agricultural University in Wageningen, where a successful breeding program focused on disease resistance in tulips was launched at the time.

Tulips
Of all bulbs, the tulip is the best known. Tulip bulbs are widely traded and even play a role in Dutch history. The plant was introduced in the Golden Age in our country.
Planting tulips:
They thrive in full sun but will tolerate light shade. Tulips hate wet feet and require well-drained soil. Never plant tulips in a single row; for best results, plant them in groups of at least 15-20 bulbs. They also make excellent container plants and are great as cut flowers.
