If you are looking for a late-blooming white tulip to put in your garden, look no further. Maureen is the best. It often still blooms beautifully after the second week of May, and makes for a perfect transition from the colourful spring border to the summery display of perennials.

This tall tulip grows exceptionally well with all the perennials with green leaves, such as daylilies, writes Jacqueline van der Kloet in her book. It blooms later in May and it prolongs the tulip flowering season in the spring garden.
