Lemon Chiffon

A subtly flamed colour mutant of the late-blooming, ivory garden Tulip Orleans. Orleans is a perfect Tulip for any garden: large, robust, with large flowers and a long blooming period. But this beautifully inflamed version with the same good characteristics is way more exciting. She is not standing in your garden screaming for attention with bright colours, but she still catches the eye. And when you take a closer look she will truly surprise you with her beauty. Lemon Chiffon is named after a delicious cake that shows the same bright colours. I am a lover of cake, but if I had to make a choice, I would pick the Tulip Lemon Chiffon over the cake any day.
