This double sport of Queen of Night is one of the last tulips to bloom during the tulip season. The tulip is a tough guy. It takes quite some time for its full flower to open up, but once it does, this olive-black pearl is the perfect finishing touch.
Black Hero shows off nicely planted in cobination with Camassia leichtlini Blue Danube.
