This grateful flower blooms with the late-blooming tulips, the first two weeks of May. Unfortunately the pretty blue flowers are not suited to put in a vase. Once picked, they wither the very same day. In the garden it brings a powerful explosion of colour when the many flowers bloom, from the bottom to the top of the ear. An exceedingly strong plant from the United States of America that perennializes very well. Just try it, is my advice. It’s worth it.
