Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus is the official name of this wild poet's daffodil. In English-speaking countries it is appropriately called Pheasant's Eye.
It flowers late, but is a gem for the garden or naturalizing halfway between the trees. Its bright white does super in the somewhat darker spots in the garden and picked in a vase you will also discover that it smells delicious.
