One of the most talked about lily introductions of the last years. Zeba is a hybrid between one of the most graceful lilies Lilium nepalense and a white lily from the Oriental group. Her blossoms look like those of Lilium nepalense but are considerably larger and carry the sweet fragrance of the Oriental lilies. Zeba is a sturdy garden lily and grows about 1,25 meter tall.

Planting and caring for lily bulbs

Plant lily bulbs in autumn or spring in a sunny or lightly shaded position with fertile, well-drained soil. Place the bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards at a depth of approximately two to three times the height of the bulb. Depending on the variety, leave around 20 to 30 cm between the bulbs. For a natural effect, plant them in small groups.

Keep the soil evenly moist during the growing season, especially in the first year, but avoid leaving the bulbs in wet soil for prolonged periods. Allow the foliage to yellow naturally after flowering so the bulbs can store energy for the following year.

You can order lily bulbs from us from the beginning of the year. Lilies do not like to remain out of the soil for long, so we ship them earlier than many other summer-flowering bulbs and tubers.
