The first Oriental Lilies were highly valued for their fuchsia pink colour. In the beginning, the flowers were still on the small side and the fuchsia was still surrounded by a white edge. But lily breeders have managed to make the flowers much larger and to wrap them completely in the rich fuchsia. Fantastic, the colour that suits the Oriental Lily like no other, with this beautiful Gomera it has been perfected down to the last detail. Hats off, what a colour.

Planting Lilies:
Lilies need fertile, well-drained soil with a thick layer of humus. They like moist, but not too wet soil. Plant them between October and April, even during frost. Lilies can withstand cold well, provided they are not exposed to too much wind and rain. Dig a trench 10-15 cm deep, loosen the soil and add fertilizer or humus if necessary. Plant the bulbs with the point upwards and cover with soil. Keep 25-30 cm distance between the bulbs, plant them in groups of three or five.
