Flaming Memory

A flirt, a charmer, a free spirit, a lovely Tulip to have in your garden. You will really enjoy it. On her long slender legs she dances the flamingo like you have never seen a Tulip dance. She is big, she is good, she is beautiful, Flaming Memory is it all.

For the Tulip lover who likes a bit more background information; Flaming Memory spontaneously appeared in a batch of Blushing Lady at the Ammerlaan nursery in Breezand. It happens quite often that an ordinary Tulip spontaneously mutates into a parakeet form. Often, and so here too, the form mutated into a parakeet is quite a bit larger than the original Tulip. Since the Blushing Lady is also a giant of a Tulip, you can imagine that the Flaming Memory is an out of proportion large Tulip. She steals the show. Really, if you were to ask me what the most impressive Tulip is, I would say “Flaming Memory” without having to think for a moment.
