For sure there are more good Dahlia breeders, but Peter Komen, living and working in Anna Paulowna is, in my opnion, certainly one of the best. What healthy- and good-looking Dahlias come from his hand. This Fenna Baaij, named after one of his granddaughters, is one of them. A fabulous colour and then those naughty backward petals, elegance at her best. Countless flowers on long, slender stalks friendly waving in the wind. You want to have her, you want to see her, you want to pick her, you want to cuddle her, you want her in your garden. She has stolen my heart; I am going to plant her.
