The Narcissus Willkommii is one the smallest and most attractive appearances of the Narcissus jonquilla, which grows in the wild in Spain. The Jonquilla Daffodil is a species which appear almost everywhere in Spain and Portugal, in many different varieties and sizes. All those variations of the species Narcissus Jonquilla have been sorted into subspecies over the years, by botanists. There really are all kinds of Narcissus Jonquilla out there, which vary in flowering time, petal size, petal colour, length, and scent. Everywhere you find them, they look a little different. For the botanist, this is amazing food for thought and conversation, they just can’t stop talking about it. This is all fine, but not my piece of cake, I rather just enjoy the beautiful flowers and the delicious scents. Especially of this Narcissus jonquilla Willkommi, she is one of the sweetest and most charming ones of the whole family. Plant her in a sunny spot of your garden, or put a flowerpot of willkommi in the sun, because she loves light and warmth. If she likes it in your garden, she can rewild as no other.
