This is what you call a 50 km per hour Narcissus. That does not mean that this Narcissus grows at such a speed, no, what I mean here is that you can drive past it at 50 km per hour and still enjoy it to the fullest. You really do not have to stop to get a good look at this Narcissus.
It was exactly the same when I discovered this Narcissus. I was visiting bulb grower Paul van Exel on Texel to do a round of his Narcissi. It was already a bit later in the day and we had to hurry to catch the boat. So we drove fast and when we were just about to turn around one of the fields I asked; hey Paul, what is that in the distance. Oh, that's another seedling, let's drive over there Paul, I want to see that. What a colour and what big flowers. Did you buy this Narcissus from Veul last year? Yes, how do you know that. I know this Narcissus I told him, it's a seedling of Fortissimo and it comes from England, Cornwall, from Mark Vandervliet. Beautiful thing man, take good care of it, make a batch of it quickly. There are already quite a few Carlos, if you can think of a good name for it you can offer one in your webshop.
Paul's company is called Texelsun so the name was born quickly. I am glad that I can be the first to carry this colorful Narcissus. Texel Sun is just like her mother Fortissimo a very strong Narcissus for the garden and I am sure that the Texel Sun will also shine very beautifully in large parks or in roadside verges and on roundabouts.

Daffodils
I hear you think now, there is Carlos again with his Daffodils, isn’t he a little bit too much in love with Daffodil. Yes, I am, no problem to admit that but I really think the Daffodil is one of the most reliable bulbs.
Planting Daffodils:
Before planting, loosen the soil well and mix in a special fertilizer for flower bulbs. Dig a trench a few centimetres deep, keeping a distance of about 5 to 10 centimetres between the bulbs to prevent overcrowding. Place the bulbs point-side up and press them firmly into the soil. Water them lightly immediately after planting, and continue to water regularly. Finally, make sure the soil is well-drained, as daffodils do not tolerate overly wet conditions.
