I already knew she was going to choose this Narcissus when I gave a bunch of 20 different seedlings to my little niece Pracht. She had asked me if I wanted to name a Narcissus after her when I explained to her that all our Narcissus seedlings still had to be named. I gave her a nice thick bunch, all different Narcissus seedlings. Large, small, multi-flowered, pink, orange, all the new varieties that were blooming in my greenhouse.
Splendor has taste, the next day she was able to tell with conviction that this was the very, very most beautiful. I think we will have this Narcissus on the nursery for years to come because it would not surprise me that many of you will also find Splendor very nice.
