Daffodils that look like this are called 'Hoop Skirt Daffodils', a nice name.
This cheerful Narcissus I got as a seedling from a friend who is a Narcissus lover. Because she didn't have a name yet, I asked my Facebook friends for fun. Fantastic what a waterfall of names were suggested;

Mary Poppins was the first to be suggested and that was a bull's eye for me, I think this name really suits this Daffodil. The nice thing about Mary Poppins is, besides her happy flowers of course, that she blooms incredibly long and richly. When the first flowers have withered, a second batch of flowers is already in bloom and when they bloom you see new buds coming out of the ground.
Truly unique as long as Mary Poppins is singing in the garden.

Daffodil planting and care
Plant daffodil bulbs in autumn in a sunny or lightly shaded position with well-drained soil. Loosen the soil thoroughly, then plant the bulbs with the pointed end facing upwards at a depth of approximately two to three times the height of the bulb. Leave around 5 to 10 cm between the bulbs.
Water after planting if the soil is dry. Avoid leaving the bulbs in persistently wet soil, as this can cause them to rot. In a suitable position, daffodils can return for many years and gradually multiply.
