It must have been around the turn of the century that grower Ammerlaan from Anna Paulowna bought this daffodil. There was only 1 flower blooming among our seedlings, but even then it stood out. Ammerlaan took good care of it for years and he was always equally happy with it. He was always happy with the flowers, he always told us when we talked about this daffodil, and how long they last.
He is right, Golden Delicious really stands out from its peers by its rich flowering and long flowering period. This flowering is partly caused by the many second bloomers it produces.
Golden Delicious is a wonderfully fresh Narcissus that will bring joy to the garden for weeks.
