There are lily-flowered Tulips with larger flowers, but you will rarely find one as slender and graceful as Anatolia. She brings to mind the Turkish Tulips from the time of Sultan Suleiman, often pictured on that beautiful, colourful Turkish pottery. With her long, slender and elegant flowers swaying gracefully on delicate stems, this Tulip comes very close to the kind of Tulip the Sultan was so fond of. She may not be the biggest Tulip in the garden, but her colour and unique shape make her one of the most striking.
