Fluwel only supplies flower bulbs within the European Union and United Kingdom. When ordering you have the option between two shipping methods:

Send by parcel post

If you have opted for shipping by parcel post during the payment process, your package will be sent via PostNL. Shipping costs are attached to this. After your order has been completed and paid for, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. Your order will be prepared and shipped within 1 - 2 business days from the Netherlands. Depending on your specified shipping address, the shipping period varies (approximately 3 - 6 business days). We send your order with a "Track & Trace" code that you receive on the day of shipment and with which your package can be tracked.

Note: The period between end of May to end of end of September is pre-order, your flower bulbs will be shipped in October.

Pick up at Fluwel

You can indicate during the payment process that you want to pick upΒ your order (free of charge) from our company in Burgerbrug (the Netherlands). After your order has been completed and paid, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. As soon as your order is ready to be picked up at Fluwel, we will contact you by e-mail. Pick upΒ is only possible on workdays between 9 AM and 3 PM.

  1. Anything ordered before each shipping time is a pre-order, this means you will get your order at the beginning of the shipping season only (e.g. for tulips this is October).
  2. In case of a combined pre-order (e.g. tulips + peonies), with two different shipping times (e.g. tulips in October and peonies in November), we will charge double delivery costs.
  3. We ship all our plant material at the best planting time. In case you live further North or further South in Europe and need your flower bulbs later or earlier in the season, please email us and we shall see what we can do.
  4. We can also combine orders with two different shipping times into one shipment, however we do not recommend this, as one plant category may arrive too late for the planting season.
