Begoni tuber planting and care
Plant begonia tubers with the hollow side facing upwards, just below the soil surface. Cover them with approximately 2 cm of soil. When planting in a border, leave around 25 cm between the tubers.
Choose a generously sized container for potted begonias. A mature plant needs plenty of space and water, while the soil in a larger pot is less likely to dry out quickly.

You can order Begonia tubers from us from the beginning of the year for the coming summer season. We start shipping from early March, so the tubers arrive in time for spring planting.

Yes. Begonia tubers can be stored and started into growth again the following spring. From around mid-March, stored tubers can also be started early to enjoy earlier flowering.
