A fantastically beautiful botanical tulip for the pot, in the rock garden or a place of honor at the front of the border. A wonderfully richly flowering miniature tulip of Greek origin. She was born in the Netherlands, mind you, but her mother has her roots on the sunny Greek island of Crete where she is known as Tulipa cretica.
Tulip lovers will certainly know the Tulipa cretica and they may wonder if Hilde is not just a selection from the Tulipa cretica. Rightly so, the beautiful Hilde looks exactly like her mother but she is different.
She blooms a little later, gives considerably more flowers and she grows much better. Plant Hilde in a sunny spot in your garden. If she likes it, she can come back for years. Not only for me is she one of the favorite botanical tulips, the bumblebees and the bees also love Hilde.

Tulips
Of all bulbs, the tulip is the best known. Tulip bulbs are widely traded and even play a role in Dutch history. The plant was introduced in the Golden Age in our country.
Planting tulips:
They thrive in full sun but will tolerate light shade. Tulips hate wet feet and require well-drained soil. Never plant tulips in a single row; for best results, plant them in groups of at least 15-20 bulbs. They also make excellent container plants and are great as cut flowers.
