A colourful tulip with frills and flair. I think we have rarely had a tulip on the Fluwel show garden that attracted so much attention as the Purple Circus. She stood at the front of the garden and if you did not drive by too quickly she managed to attract your attention from the car. Many a flower bulb grower has therefore stopped to take a closer look at this tulip.
In the beginning of its blooming, white dominates, as it matures more space is made for the fashionable purple. But from start to finish a circus you don't want to miss.

Of all bulbs, the tulip is the best known. Tulip bulbs are widely traded and even play a role in Dutch history. The plant was introduced in the Golden Age in our country.
Planting tulips:
They thrive in full sun but will tolerate light shade. Tulips hate wet feet and require well-drained soil. Never plant tulips in a single row; for best results, plant them in groups of at least 15-20 bulbs. They also make excellent container plants and are great as cut flowers.
