The Wizard of Oz seems to be going out of fashion a bit, too bad, but that's just the way it goes. There is a lot of competition in pink for the Dahlia and at the moment it seems like there are a few more colour companions in the spotlight.
But luckily, in the Wizard of Oz, a phenomenally beautiful color mutant has been found: The Wizard Light.
This Dahlia is truly fantastically beautiful; subtle white with a hint of the softest pink, so refined and truly unique among Dahlias.
She has exactly the same good qualities as her mother, sturdy, rich flowering and suitable for both the garden and flower boxes. No competitor can match this for the time being.

Dahlias
The Dahlia truly deserves every bit of love she receives. Every gardener should be placing her om a pedestal: Dahlias carry flowers for a long time, and in a large number. Even when autumn is approaching, you don’t need to worry: the Dahlia will be there to give your garden those last few rays of sunshine.
Planting dahlias:
Dahlias are summer bloomers and should be planted in spring, after the last night frost, when the soil temperature is at least 15°C. Plant the tubers about 40 cm apart for tall varieties and 30 cm for shorter varieties. For pots, choose very large pots, because dahlias need a lot of water in the warm summer months. Plant them just under the soil, about 2 cm deep.
