Actually I think this is an Amaryllis that is completely off. I don't know exactly how to explain it, but when I look at her she is completely off.
It is probably because of its tough appearance; large, robust flowers on a sturdy, stocky plant, often with thick leaves and sturdy stems. This in combination with the incredibly awful pink pink of its enormous flowers somehow throws me off balance.
But I think she is beautiful. I would give her to my best friends without hesitation.
