Crocus bulbs
Actually, the name 'crocus bulbs' is not entirely correct. A crocus does not grow from a flower bulb, but from a tuber, just like a dahlia. Nevertheless, we call it 'crocus bulbs' in common parlance.
Most of the crocuses in our range flower in early spring, but some varieties bloom in autumn. When choosing your crocuses, be sure to check the flowering period of each variety.
They are very often planted in municipal pavilions and green areas. You can already see from this that these flowers require little care once they are in the ground.
Crocus bulbs in the garden
Depending on the temperatures, they usually raise their heads in February or March. In fact, only snowdrops bloom earlier. This early flowering makes crocuses very popular, because they announce spring at the end of winter.
Crocuses are not demanding plants, but it is useful to plant them properly in the ground in one go. Crocuses can naturalize well, so after that one time you don't really have to worry about them anymore.

Crocus chrysanthus
The Crocus Chrysanthus varieties do not cause such a colour explosion as most other crocuses, but they are still the most beautiful. Beautiful colours and exciting striped patterns on perfectly formed flowers make the Crocus Chrysanthus little miracles of Mother Nature. Use them in places in the garden where you can see them well or on a pot or in a flower box.
