Its magically beautiful flowers have been seen in images for centuries, and still are today. We supply large Zantedeschia bulbs with a minimum circumference of 20 cm+, guaranteed many flowers.

Planting and caring for Zantedeschia (Calla) tubers

Plant Zantedeschia tubers in spring once the risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny, warm and sheltered position with nutrient-rich, well-drained soil. Place the tubers approximately 10 cm deep with the growing points facing upwards.

Zantedeschias are also ideal for containers. Use a generously sized pot with good drainage and keep the soil evenly moist during the growing season, without allowing it to remain wet for prolonged periods. Protect the plants from frost and overwinter the tubers in a frost-free place.

When can I buy Zantedeschia tubers?

You can order Zantedeschia tubers from us from the beginning of the year for the coming summer season. We start shipping from early March, so the tubers arrive in time for spring planting.

Height varies by variety. Some more compact Zantedeschias grow to around 30–40 cm, so we recommend checking the specifications of the individual variety.
