Planting and caring for peonies
Plant peonies as soon as possible after delivery in a sunny position with nutrient-rich, well-drained soil. Plant herbaceous and Itoh peonies with the growing points facing upwards and cover them with approximately 2 to 3 cm of soil. Avoid planting them too deeply, as this can reduce or even prevent flowering.
Tree peonies, however, should be planted more deeply, with the graft union well below the soil surface. Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil slightly moist while the plants establish their roots.

You can order our peonies from around August for the coming planting season. We start shipping from November, so the roots arrive at the right time for planting and can be planted soon after delivery.
