Hilde

A fantastically beautiful botanical Tulip for the pot, in the rock garden or a place of honor at the front of the border. A wonderfully richly flowering miniature tulip of Greek origin. She was born in the Netherlands, but her mother has her roots on the sunny Greek island of Crete where she is known as Tulipa cretica.

The Tulipa cretica will certainly be known among tulip lovers and they may wonder whether Hilde is not simply a selection from the Tulipa cretica. Rightly so, the beautiful Hilde looks exactly like her mother, but she is different.

It blooms a little later, produces considerably more flowers and grows much better. Plant Hilde in a sunny spot in your garden. If she has a good time, she can come back for years to come. Not only is she one of my favorite botanical tulips, the bumblebees and bees also love Hilde.
