An oldie, with almost 100 years, her year of introduction was 1931. Surprising to see is how her extremely beautiful lavender-pink flower buds turn into amazing white flowers. When looking closely at her bigger flowers you will always find a hint of her peculiar pink color, however, the white will always be the dominant color. By the way, Nick Shaylor is the only Peony that has been awarded the title for most beautiful Peony of the year twice. Both in 1941 and 1969 The American Peony Society has crowned her with the Gold Medal.
