Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus is the official name of this poeticus type daffodil, a wildling. In English-speaking countries it is often referred to as Pheasant’s Eye – very appropriate indeed. This late-bloomer is a gem, both in full sight in your garden and perennialized halfway under the trees. Its clear white colour looks amazing in darker areas of your garden, and if you cut some flowers and put them in a vase, you’ll discover its delicious fragrance.
