A Tulip that does not get the credit and spotlight she deserves in gardens and parks. The flower bulb industry gave her the label ‘Pot Tulip’ and for this means she is widely grown and used. My neighbour, Q.J. Vink en Zn., also grows Innuendo and every spring I see her light up as a bright pink piece of land. While she is absolutely perfect to plant in pots, she also does very well in gardens and borders. She is short and kind of sturdy, with a lovely pink colour; on top of that she also blooms for quite a long time. Every time I asked for a few of these pretty pink Tulips, Vink had to tell me he did not have them anymore: she was always sold out to growers that specialize in potted Tulips. But he did promise me that as soon as he had a few to spare I would be the first to know about it. And voila: they are here! You can buy them for yourself, and I think you already know that she is perfect for both gardens and pots.
