French Blend

The tulips of this type are called ‘Scheepers tulips’, as they are all sports of the Mrs. John T. Scheepers tulip, won in 1930. These late-blooming tulips are almost identical, the differing feature being their colour. Each and every one of these nicely shaped models is trying hard to be the prettiest. They are all beautiful to me, so I just enjoy the display of colours in this fashion show. Eight different colours are used for this mixture.
