Dahlia Mikayla Miranda

When I was taking pictures of the beautiful Mikayla Miranda at the Dahlia show gardens in Lisse, something very interesting happened to me: for the first time in my life, I was recognized by someone who had visited our web sop. “Are you the man from the nice flower web site from Fluwel?” was the question I got. The fame nearly got to my head and I was ready to start calling myself a national celebrity, but reality quickly came back to me. It was a very nice meeting, we spent a long time talking about our shared passion: the Dahlia. Like me, this Dahlia lover was a fan of Mikayla Miranda, and thought her to be one of the best in the show garden. A cloud of flowers, not too large but certainly not too small, and delightfully fresh in colour. A Dahlia that really puts herself out there without being too much of an attention seeker, I would say. Whenever I meet a Dahlia like this a do always wonder who the lady behind the name would be. Someone must like her very much.
