Allium Early Emperor

Yes, she looks a kind of the same as all those other Alliums like Purple Sensation etc. But for me there was no doubt to add this new Allium to my assortment of ornamental onions. Her name tells us that she is an early bloomer. Allium Early Emperor blooms at the same time as the late Tulips, Camassia’s, Bluebells, and even with the poeticus Narcissus recurves. Allium are always a kind of lonely when they are in bloom, but this Allium Early Emperor will be present at the party of spring flowering bulbs.
