A cheerful lily with a bright character. Lady Alice is a sibling of Lilium henryi and just like her mother an easy to grow plant in the garden. She prefers to be planted in between tall perennials so she has some support because her long stems sometimes are a bit too weak to carry all her flowers when she is in full bloom. Lady Alice is a lily that needs a couple of years to reach her maximum size, the first year each bulb only produces about 5 flowers but during the following years the flower count becomes much bigger. An individual flower of Lady alice is not a large as you might expect from the picture, 15 centimetres at most, but her grace on the other end is unsurpassed.
