A delightful free flowering lily with a wild look. Uchida can bloom abundantly and be humble at the same time, where ever you see he it looks like she belongs there.

She is a selection of the species lilium speciosum var. Rubrum and selected about 50 years ago for her good and healthy growing habits.

At first she was successful as one of the most graceful flowers on the cut flower market but nowadays she is only used for gardening. When you see her in bloom it is hard to believe why the cut flower trade is not using her anymore.
