Golden Delicious

Around the turn of the century, grower Ammerlaan from the North Holland village Anna Paulowna bought this Daffodil. There was only one blooming flower of this daffodil in our seedlings, but even then she caught the eye. Ammerlaan has been nursing her for years now and he has always been nothing but happy. Whenever we are talking about this Daffodil he tells me that she is immensely floriferous and that they are durable, too. And he is right: Golden Delicious really stands out from her peers because of her beautiful flowers with a long blooming period. This long blooming period is partly because she produces a lot of new flowers when others are already in bloom. Golden Delicious is a delightfully fresh Daffodil that could bring joy to your garden for weeks.
