Androcles

In the year 2002 I got a few bulbs of this beautiful Daffodil from the famous bulb expert Kees Breed. He had Androcles already for many years in his vast collection and it surprised him that the commercial grower did not take notice to this variety. I loved the beauty of this Daffodil and asked Mr Breed if I could try to build a stock. He would put some aside for me, in the fall I was welcome to collect them. Mr Breed was right, Androcles is as well for the gardener as the bulb grower a nice and good growing Daffodil.
