When you see Double Touch as a young flower (like on the first picture) you will two weeks later not believe that you are looking at the same tulip (like on the third picture). Many white tulips with pink or lilac rims have the habit to grow into the the colour of the edge when maturing. In my opinion this aging process is not always as nice. Double Touch on the other end is 3 x beautiful, when just opening harmonious pink lines and after that just a fine pink tulip. But her peak of beauty is just before she dies, an astonishing lilac tulip appears.
