A Unique little daffodil on our nursery. When the winter is not too cold, we pick the first flowers early in March. Do not envision a large bunch of this small daffodils with stems of hardly 20-centimeter length. But she is worth a little bunch and she has an amazing fragrance. On each single stem you easily count 10 shiny white-yellow perfumed flowers. I’m not sure if her name, Tazetta ssp. Tazetta is the correct name. Years ago, we got this daffodil in our collection under the name Tazetta subsp. Discolor but this name does not exist in the official register of Daffodil names. But after a lot of reading and googling I think Tazetta ssp. Tazetta is her proper name. But is you think you can prove me wrong, please do so and drop me an e-mail. Whatever her precise name is, she is a cutie. Blooms together with the Snowdrops and her plentiful flowers are a wonderful announcement that spring is coming.
