As a seedling I saw her blooming for the first time in the spring of 2003 in the field of Brian Duncan in Northern Ireland, it was love at first sight. Such a nicely coloured pink parasol on top of a crisp white perianth, truly refreshing. For a couple of hundred Irish Pounds and a bottle of Scottish Whisky of good quality I could buy her. After the deal I first helped Brian with the Whisky and home I went with the Daffodil. Diversity turned out to be a very good and healthy increaser on our nursery and I am glad we are able to offer her.
