This amazing little Daffodil comes from California and it was in the garden of my American Daffodil friend and bulb merchant Brent Heath where I saw her for the first time. This is Brooke Ager, is what he told me, one of my favorites. It is a pity that the American gardeners do not fancy these charming and delicate smaller flowered Daffodils. The majority of the American gardeners prefer big flowers, it is hard for me to convince my customers to plant Brooke Ager is what he told me. Fortunately, the European gardeners do care for these cute and delightful smaller sized Daffodils. I’m convinced that Brooke Ager is waiting a marvelous career in the European Gardens. I have seldom seen such uncomplicated Daffodils being so utterly gorgeous.
