Many bulb farmers refer to this daffodil as ‘dandelion’. They don’t like it, and to them it is like a common flower. But garden lovers (mostly female) invariably kneel down to give it the attention it deserves. This daffodil is a double sport of the wildling species narcissus pumilus, and not surprisingly an excellent candidate for perennializing. After a few years nicely full bunches will appear and decorate the garden, already very early in spring.
